Work-life Balance: Retire healthy

This must be goal of each and every student, graduates and everyone in life. This goal is achievable for most of us if you remain faithful to yourself. You are the most important asset for your family, but if you don’t take care of yourself, then you may become the biggest liability for them.

 

We all know how much it is important to have a healthy lifestyle. But we keep on finding excuses for ourselves to keep body abuse. Body gives many early signs of internal problems but we let go it only to land up in bigger problem.

 

Like a very healthy meal is needed for ourself to rejuvenate, repair and regenerate lost cells. We also need 7 – 8 hours of sound sleep. Make a habit of switching off use of mobile phones 3 hours before sleep. This will reduce stimulation of optic nerve due to the blue light from mobile/ computer screen . Once the optic nerve is more exposed to yellow/ orange shaded light brain will release melatonin, an essential hormone for sleep.

 

You are an intelligent human being therefore don’t go to bed with a question in mind. As your subconscious mind will keep on the inner talk, which will disturb your sleep pattern. This will lead to compromised repair at cellular level.

 

Learn peak performance habits at work place, this is becoming mandatory as you need to give you best within 30 to 40 hours per week working time. Once you save your time, invest that time for fitness of mind and body. If you stay focused and disciplined on your goal you will comfortably reach to top with abundance of good health.
